Ericsson Inc. has multiple openings in Irvine, CA for Engineer - SVCS RF positions to perform complex network planning, design & optimization activities.
What you will do:
Analyze and resolve network technical issues to achieve optimal technical network performance and stakeholder satisfaction. Prepare site list for optimization with Ericsson Engineers and schedule drives with necessary customer approvals. Secure approval for recommendations from customer and implement them into the network. Conduct validation tests to ensure performance of site meets customer requirements. With customer approval of optimization efforts on site schedule launch of site. Monitor site performance and handover to Ericsson Post Launch team for further monitoring. Review test results of initial optimization tests and provide recommendations based on analysis of data. Perform complex network issue troubleshooting activities utilizing Ericsson network solutions, components, tools, and processes. Lead/support complex technical network performance data activities including network data collection, technical report preparation/review, and network key performance indicator (KPI) review and analysis. Evaluate Ericsson solution/tool requirements, network activity frequency, project delivery timeline, escalation matrix identification, and relevant network activity statistics/details for optimal network planning and optimization success. Evaluate network performance impact due to ongoing network modernization, network maintenance, and/or network repairs in order to achieve optimal network technical performance. Provide technical expertise for complex network/system audits to evaluate technical performance and identify opportunities for network performance improvement. Provide technical expertise & guidance to ensure that solution/process improvement data is documented and available in order to enable optimal solutions performance and process development. Provide technical support to enable collaboration and smooth handovers within relevant stakeholders.
