Overview & Purpose
About the Analytics and Information Management (AIM) Department
The Analytics and Information Management Department was recently formed to address data and information governance at the enterprise level. The group handles records and information management, functional content management software administration, data management, analytics, visualization, and GIS.
About the Position
As a Data Architect on our AIM team, you would collaboratively architect and implement a master data management program, including taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, standards, governance procedures, thesauruses and capture solutions. This position provides operational and functional governance to CAP's critical data. This position will evaluate, analyze, and document information management throughout CAP and work with divisions/departments to implement improvements as needed with capture / technology, ensuring solutions are developed using the governance framework. You would provide ongoing support, guidance, and transformational assistance to all employees in a holistic way across information management and data governance projects and their deployment into production using standardization for data integration compatibility. Hybrid telework option available after onboarding period.
About the Qualifications
The successful candidate for this position will have a bachelor's degree in computer or library science, records and information management, or similar systems or data management plus six (6) years of hands-on experience in a data-centric environment; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience which must include a high school diploma/GED, related certifications, plus an additional four (4) years of related experience. You should have knowledge of principles and procedures used in maintaining and controlling complex, enterprise-wide records and data systems and be proficient with business process mapping tools. Any experience with OpenText Content Server, ETL tools, SQL, and/or PowerBI reporting would be a plus.
